About B2B Compliance

B2B Compliance is an Approved Compliance Scheme for Producers that are obligated under the Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment Regulations 2006 (as amended 2007and 2009), and is approved for both household (B2C) and non-household (B2B) WEEE. The Scheme is operated by GAMBICA B2B Compliance Ltd, a not-for-profit Company limited by Guarantee. As a producer-led initiative from the electrical and electronic industry, B2B Compliance was created to protect Producers' interests in the WEEE compliance marketplace.

With over 480 Members we are now the largest WEEE Compliance scheme of our kind.

Origins of B2B Compliance

GAMBICA B2B Compliance is a not-for-profit initiative of GAMBICA - the national organisation representing the interests of companies in the instrumentation, control, automation and laboratory technology industry in the UK. GAMBICA represents an industry sector with an output in excess of £6 billion.

With a membership of over 200 companies the scope of the GAMBICA Association covers five principal sectors of the industry:

• Industrial automation products and systems
• Process measurement and control equipment and systems
• Environmental analysis and monitoring equipment
• Laboratory Technology
• Test and measurement equipment for electrical and electronic industries

The scheme's development was assisted and guided by strategic environmental consultants, Strateco Ltd, whose staff, skilled in Producer Responsibility and waste matters, now facility manages B2B Compliance on behalf of industry members.
